Operating under new leadership, and expanding into new markets, the top-performing collector of government student loans, Diversified Collection Services (DCS), tapped StealThunder to help overhaul and reposition their corporate brand.

We began by creating a new name—Performant Financial Corporation—to help communicate the company’s plan to grow beyond loan collections. We then created a subsidiary brand for the launch of a new loan consolidation business targeting college graduates. The work done by StealThunder and our design partner, Landkamer Partners, included creating a new identity, all-new marketing communications, a tradeshow exhibit, and a website that allowed applicants to complete the entire loan process online. On completion of this consumer-facing subsidiary, the team developed a brand architecture, nomenclature strategy, messaging, visual identity system, marketing materials, and a new website for the parent company and its B2B subsidiaries.
